The Pupil Inclusion Panel was developed to provide schools with a network of support. Secondary PIP meets once per fortnight to discuss current exclusion data, and preventative strategies. The PIP is well attended by representatives from Stockton’s Local Authority; Academies and Maintained schools; Early Help; Youth Directions; School Admissions. Stockton schools work tirelessly to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils. Statutory placements consist of an education to those:
- Children who cannot access a school setting, for medical reasons, may be referred to Stockton Local Authority’s One Point Panel. For further information on this service, please contact Clare Mahoney, Education Development Advisor- SEN & Inclusion
- Pupils directed to us by the Local Authority
- Who have been permanently excluded from school
