Our primary pupils are partnership pupils who are dual registered with their home school. We work closely with the schools to ensure our year 6 pupils receive a bespoke curriculum, meeting the needs of the individual to close any gaps in learning and allow them to fully access the SATs in line with their mainstream peers.
The Year 6 students, of the academic year 2016-17, made rapid progress during their placement with the Bishopton Centre and as a result their SATs scores were close to national expectations.
The governments expected standard score of any year 6 pupil is 100.
We were extremely proud of all our learners and their achievements this year. Our photography and Art GSCE results were very pleasing and gave many of our young people confidence in achieving. It was extremely positive to see half of our young people leave school with 5 or more GCSEs.
