KEY STAGE 4       Bishopton offers a rich and diverse curriculum to pupils in years 10 and 11. Pupils have the opportunity to work towards a number of GCSE qualifications as well as gain practical work experience in off-site provision that offers accreditation in a range of vocational areas as well as wider employability and social skills. KEY STAGE 3       In-line with the National Curriculum pupils are provided with a curriculum that offers breadth and balance for all with the appropriate levels of expectation and challenge, it offers relevance, continuity and progression in learning, subjects covered are:

Throughout the curriculum, we continually promote the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of our pupils. This is achieved through our discrete PSHE scheme of work, creative days and cross-curricular links within subjects.

KEY STAGE 2         Pupils in years 3 – 6 will be supported in closing gaps in individual progress and achievement across a broad range of National Curriculum subjects in line with mainstream schools. For pupils in year 6 we will work in partnership with the pupil’s home school in supporting the child through their SATs assessments. Literacy and numeracy is personalised for the needs of each individual learner and taught every morning. Bishopton use an educational resource called Cornerstones which excites children’s imaginations, inspires them to learn, extends their horizons, deepens their understanding and meets their intellectual and personal needs. Through a highly creative and inspirational curriculum the following subjects are taught:
